We are a group of small animal practices in Kent, first established over 20 years ago. We are passionate about animal care and our skilled team of veterinarians and vet nurses are dedicated to providing the highest quality care for your animals. Because we love animals and strive to provide excellent continuity of care, we are open six days a week and have access to 24-hour emergency care. For your added convenience, there’s free parking for clients at our surgeries.
Hayley has worked in practice since 2007 and qualified as a registered veterinary nurse (RVN) from Hadlow College in May 2011, joining the Maison Dieu team in June 2014. She has always had a passion for animals so working with them was a natural career choice for her. Hayley has four dogs and a rabbit at home. Outside work she enjoys spending time with her family, renovating her home and showing her dogs around the UK and Europe.
Jessica Bold RVN Dip Dog Agr
Jess is one of the nurses at Maison Dieu. She studied veterinary nursing at Harper Adams University, obtaining a foundation degree and qualifying as a vet nurse. Jess has a cat named Titch who is a rescue from a farm in Somerset - Titch was born feral and she is still very feisty when she doesn’t get her own way! Jess also has a rabbit who is a particularly happy bunny and loves having cuddles when he isn’t too busy stealing human food. In her spare time she volunteers at a local dog rescue, helping to walk all of the rescue dogs and take them on day trips out for socialisation.
Emily Kerr RVN
Emily qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in 2017 after completing a BSc (Hons) degree at Middlesex University. She grew up on a farm so has always been surrounded by animals and she loves working with them. Before starting at Maison Dieu, Emily went travelling to Southern Africa and Australia. One day she hopes to return to Southern Africa to work with the wildlife over there.
Trainee Veterinary Nurse
Felicity has worked for the CVS Group since July 2005, starting at another practice and joining the team at Maison Dieu shortly after. She has had many roles since starting her veterinary career with CVS, including animal nursing assistant, receptionist and now trainee veterinary nurse. Felicity has always wanted to work in the industry and finally made the leap to start her veterinary nurse training in 2015. She is loving it as the role is very rewarding as well as challenging and every day is different. Felicity looks forward to meeting you and all your pets in the future.
Patient Care Assistant
Michelle has worked for Maison Dieu since 2010 and is based mainly at the Canterbury site. She was initially employed as a receptionist but had a chance to become a veterinary nursing assistant and she jumped at the opportunity. Michelle enjoys dealing with clients and providing the best customer service she can to our clients and their pets. At home she has eight dogs, five cats, two horses, two guinea pigs and a rabbit. In her spare time Michelle enjoys travelling around the UK and Europe showing her dogs including appearances at Crufts.
