We are a group of small animal practices in Kent, first established over 20 years ago. We are passionate about animal care and our skilled team of veterinarians and vet nurses are dedicated to providing the highest quality care for your animals. Because we love animals and strive to provide excellent continuity of care, we are open six days a week and have access to 24-hour emergency care. For your added convenience, there’s free parking for clients at our surgeries.
Carol joined the practice as the practice manager in October 2016, bringing with her over 15 years of management and customer service experience. She has two cats, Patch and Button, as well as a dog called Snow.
Lorraine joined the Maison Dieu team in October 2015 bringing 14 years of experience with her to the practice. She is very hands on with the animals and loves being able to work as a nursing assistant as well as on reception. Lorraine has a keen interest in nutrition and helps with the weight clinics at our Deal branch. She has lots of pets at home including a one eyed cat and a large number of dogs. In her spare time, Lorraine competes in dog shows across Europe with her Chinese Crested Powderpuff, Chester, including an appearance at Crufts in 2016. Lorraine is now getting involved in judging at various dog shows.
Diane has worked at Maison Dieu for many years and really enjoys meeting members of the public and helping them and their pets. Diane is particularly interested in rehoming and charity work and loves being able to help an animal in need. She has many ferrets and cats at home, many of which come from her work with ferret rescue. Diane enjoys working with a team of staff who are passionate and who also have a huge love for animals.
Margaret has worked at the Deal practice since 1986 and in her spare time is a dog trainer at The Deal & District Dog Club, and has been for many years. She has always enjoyed talking to our clients about their pets and helping with any problems, be it an over boisterous puppy or a senior pet, and finds all the cuddles and licks a bonus. Margaret has three dogs; two Malinois and a German Shepherd, of whom she competes in obedience with including a win at Crufts.
