If your pet is put on long term medication you can request repeat prescriptions for these without having to present your pet to the practice each time.
Repeat prescriptions are on a case by case basis and are at the sole discretion of the veterinary surgeon on duty.
Please give 72-hours notice for all repeat prescriptions to be prepared at the practice this allows us to ensure we have the full quantity of medication in stock before you collect the medication.
If your pet has not been seen by the veterinary surgeon in the last six months your repeat will not be authorised we are required to ensure that all patients are regularly examined and under our care for all prescription only medications.
Some repeat medications are subject to blood work being carried out and patients being stable before the repeat is issued.
If you are in any doubt about your pets medications we recommend calling the surgery to discuss this with the veterinary surgeon rather than using the online service.
